What is EASE?

Energy Analytic Security Exchange (EASE) is a threat intelligence sharing community established to aid the energy sector in defending networks, facilities, staff and reputation. EASE provides cyber and physical threat information to reduce the industry’s risk to the many threats it encounters.

EASE offers bidirectional alerts between staff analysts and members, detailed threat reports, automated Indicators of Compromise, and vulnerability reports on hundreds of systems. The community receives actionable intelligence from government sources, private vendors, and a network of sharing partners from other sectors and regions around the world.

The GRF Cross Sector Community

The EASE community exists in a constellation of other security sharing groups that are part of the Global Resilience Federation (GRF) network. These sharing organizations exchange threat intelligence and vulnerability details for warning and mitigation purposes.

EASE members also benefit from a monthly Cross Sector Community call that brings together members and analysts from several information sharing organizations. The calls are highly attended and designed to highlight actionable threats and security measures to systemic threats.

At EASE, members are ‘trust sourcing’ threat data and intelligence to advance the mutual security of organizations in the energy sector.
